Product Description
Oversized Drop-Shoulder T-Shirt with Textured Surface and Side Slits

Built around a 260 GSM textured jacquard knit, the Oversized Drop-Shoulder T-Shirt with Textured Surface and Side Slits is produced by Ningbo Haishu Dongbang Garment Co., Ltd., a manufacturer with approximately 10,000 m² of production space, 6 production lines and around 200 employees. The 70% cotton and 30% polyester fabric forms a wide black body with dropped shoulders, a back hem extending 3 cm beyond the front and 6 cm side openings. Dongbang's 4 pattern makers, 6 sample makers and 16 QC staff support pattern development, sample making and production inspection for this type of loose knit garment. Development sizes are S–XL.

Product Design and Construction

Texture with Enough Body for the Shape

Oversized Drop-Shoulder T-Shirt with Textured Surface and Side Slits

The selected 70% cotton, 30% polyester textured jacquard knit at 260 GSM gives this version a medium-weight direction with a finely raised surface. Fine texture carries the surface detail, leaving the chest and back free of printed graphics.

For the Oversized Drop-Shoulder T-Shirt with Textured Surface and Side Slits, fabric should be assessed hanging as well as flat. A softer alternative would fall closer to the body, while a firmer cloth would hold the width more visibly. Sample either alternative to compare its drape with the selected 260 GSM cloth.

Hem Movement and Finishing

Oversized Drop-Shoulder T-Shirt with Textured Surface and Side Slits

The base places the back hem 3cm below the front, with 6cm side openings and reinforcement at their upper ends. A self-fabric crew-neck band, overlocked seams and turned hems keep the construction direct.

When shortening the body, review the slit position at the same time so it still opens at a useful point. Increasing chest width alone is not a complete oversized T-shirt adjustment: the shoulder drop, sleeve length and hem clearance need to work with it.

Applications

The long, wide shape suits casual layering where the top is intended to fall clear of the waist. Elbow-length sleeves and dropped shoulders continue the loose proportion rather than ending in a narrow arm opening. The black surface keeps the focus on volume and fine texture.

The Oversized Drop-Shoulder T-Shirt with Textured Surface and Side Slits can be developed as a longer alternative to a standard oversized T-shirt. Side openings allow the front and back hems to move independently around the hips; their placement should be reviewed with the intended bottoms and body length.

Production Support for Wider Knit Shapes

Dongbang's approximately 10,000 m² factory and garment production team support cutting, sewing, finishing, inspection and packing. For a broad knit shape, the agreed process can include fabric relaxation before cutting and first-piece checks of shoulder position, body width and front-to-back length.

The 16-person QC team carries out workmanship and measurement checks during production. Side-opening reinforcement and balanced lower edges can be identified as style-specific inspection points.

FAQ

1. Is this a long version of a regular fitted T-shirt?

Its width, shoulder drop and sleeves are developed together as a loose silhouette. Adding length to a fitted pattern would not reproduce the same body and sleeve proportion.

2. What do the side openings change?

They separate the lower front and back edges so the long body can fall around the hips. The selected back length is slightly greater than the front, making that separation visible from the side.

3. Can a chest graphic be added to the textured fabric?

It can be assessed as an option. Trial the artwork on the actual textured cloth because fine lines and solid areas may read differently across its raised surface.

4. How long does the first sample usually take?

Sample development normally takes 7–15 working days after design details, measurements and materials are confirmed. Feedback can be used for pattern, fabric or workmanship revisions; changes requiring new materials may take longer, with revised timing confirmed after review.

5. Can a third party inspect the finished order?

Yes. Third-party inspections or product testing can be arranged to your requirements. We support document preparation and on-site coordination; agree the standards, tests and reporting requirements before production or shipment.

Define the Oversized Proportion

Share the intended body coverage, sleeve length and fabric handle for the Oversized Drop-Shoulder T-Shirt with Textured Surface and Side Slits (DB0008). Include front and back length requirements so the stepped hem can be reviewed on the same fit sample.
